- $12 for $20 worth of books and coffee
Though it began as a handful of children's coloring books and two grief workshops, the Centering Corporation has since grown into one of the nation's largest support networks for the bereaved. Its resources include literature, group meetings, and sympathy cards, as well as its own magazine, Grief Digest. All of these offerings have been designed to help people process and cope with the loss of a loved one.
Centering Corporation's main campus in Omaha is also home to Caring Cups, a coffee shop and book room where guests can find repose with a warm drink. In addition to welcoming visitors during regular hours, the coffee shop is also available to host grief support groups or family gatherings.
