Columbus Historical Society
Founded in 1990 by a group of local historians, the Columbus Historical Society unlocks the city's past one bus tour at a time. Those tours, their signature service, offer a chance to get to know Columbus's secrets every summer. Zipping through downtown, the Short North Arts District, German Village, Olde Town East, and other city highlights, the tours give participants a chance to dig into two centuries of history without ever having to board a horse and carriage. They also offer more stationary explorations of history with rotating exhibits on everything from law enforcement to architecture.
