- $27 for a brewing class for two ($50 value)
To brew your own beer, it's not enough to put hops and yeast in a bottle and wait for it to rain. The proprietor of Daddy Brews—who holds a degree in brewing—created his shop to be a resource for local brewing enthusiasts. Amongst the brewing supplies are yeast, barley malt, and hops stored at the proper conditions to ensure quality, as well as brewing kits, books, and bottling supplies. Aspiring brewers can also show up to take classes in the fine art, while special events with local microbrewers give newbies a chance to hobnob with area craft beer-makers.
