Best ice cream (blizzard). Also ate chicken tenders and they were cooked fresh.

At this Dairy Queen the ice cream is to soft so it’s more milkshake like. I usually get a hamburger too. Today the hamburger price went up a dollar and the small Blizzard cup got smaller (Groupon only good at this store on 72 Hwy.) Cashier said it’s due to the new “system” they just installed. I was just there two days ago.

The Groupon only allowed for additional % off on ONE, not the whole deal which was confusing and just an okay deal. I have gotten the small Blizzard several times, and some DQ staff were very confused by the Groupon. I have had both excellent service and terrible service depending on the person helping me. Overall, I have been able to redeem the Groupons and the Blizzards are always delicious, so in the end I would probably get this again.

About Dairy Queen

On a warm August day in 1938, a father and son unveiled the first sample of what was to become Dairy Queen, selling 1,600 ice cream samples on the first day, a feat as unheard of as a dragon that breathes ice. Its ensuing prolific expansion was fueled by its frozen treats, which propelled the dessert shop from 100 stores in 1947 to 1,446 in 1950. Today, DQ's dessert recipes remain largely unchanged, and its enormous dessert menu boasts treats ranging from soft-serve cones and blizzards filled with cookies to takeaway ice-cream sandwiches and cakes. Dairy Queen has also added hearty grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and fried chicken to its menu.
