FH Steinbart Co. outfits would-be brew masters with the knowledge and equipment necessary to concoct batches of frothy beer. During a 1.5-hour Basic Brewing class, 15–25 students look on as their instructor demonstrates every step of the brewing process, from formulating a recipe to affixing bottle caps using teeth. Staff members put some of their home-brewing efforts on flavorful display and discuss the various styles and techniques of drinksmanship. The 10–20 pupils of the Grain To Glass Brewing class receive 3.5-4 hours of specialized tutelage from the resident brewer, discussing the ingredients necessary to craft varying styles of beers.
