What You’ll Do
Bianca Jaime’s tour of downtown San Diego strips away the skyscrapers and takes you back to the city’s nascent days as a fledgling port town. Though the tour covers the history of the area’s brothels, saloons, and opium dens, the only debauchery here will be a few drinks consumed at local restaurants. The trek includes four stops at such establishments, each of which offers up miniature portions of their cuisine.
Learn about the seedier times in San Diego with stories from the city’s erstwhile saloons, brothels, and opium dens.
The tour includes stops and samples at four local restaurants; some venues include samples of alcoholic beverages. Let your guide know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.
