  • The Talent: the 70+ woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists of the Metropolitan Wind Symphony, who’ve been serenading the Greater Boston area with pristine concert band music for 44 years
  • The Program: a spirited collection of music with themes of dancing and angels (including Frank Ticheli’s Angels in the Architecture), plus Robert Russell Bennett’s Symphonic Songs for Band (a favorite amongst wind bands)
  • Highlights: the world premiere of Jason Huffman’s Alleles and MWS clarinetists David Minot and Wolcott Humphrey performing music director Lewis Buckley’s Fantasy for Two Clarinets
