What You'll Get
Racing dates back to ancient Greece, where chariot races around city walls settled disputes over farming rights and which philosopher had the best beard. Witness the fairest system of justice with this deal to see the GEICO MiniMotoSX racing event, sponsored by Monster Energy, at Orleans Arena on Sunday, May 6, starting at 5 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m. Choose between the following options:
- For $15, you get two tickets for general-admission seating (a $40 value)
- For $25, you get four tickets for general-admission seating (an $80 value)<p>
Zipping into Sin City for the ninth consecutive year, the GEICO MiniMotoSX racing event showcases the small-scale horsepower of more than 500 riders gathered from across the globe. Ten separate classes, including youth, women, and expert racers, will joust wheel-to-wheel throughout the evening, vying for cash prizes while trying to jettison reigning champions from their thrones. Expert rider Willy Browning returns to the track after an unblemished showing in 2011, when he not only avoided the temptation to throw banana peels under his competitors’ tires, but also captured a trio of titles from three different divisions. Adding to the buzz of this year’s races, a unique track is set to present riders with a lineup of freshly polished challenges, including a starting gate located outside the arena and an over-under bridge that may or may not be guarded by a mud-flinging troll.
