What You’ll Do

Most artists don’t eat their own work—but maybe more would if chocolate was their medium. You can sculpt with the sweet stuff yourself during this two-hour workshop, under the guidance of accomplished confectioner Peggy Alter. You’ll assemble an edible wine glass from chocolate pieces, and package your creation for the road or take it home in your belly.

  • Learn Chocolate Essentials
Peggy discusses the differences between couverture and coating chocolate, divulges why tempering chocolate is important, and shares how to shape it with provided tools.

  • Customize Your Creation
Add a personal touch to your chocolate glass with colorful luster dust and sprinkles.

  • Raise a Glass
Feel free to bring a beverage of your choice—the workshop is BYOB friendly.
