The Show:Oz Comes to Harlem, an urban adaptation of The Wizard of Oz in which Dorothy and Friends travel through the Village of Harlem, encountering characters such as the Wicked Witch of the Upper East Side. Each “episode” of the trilogy consists of a two-hour variety show with poetry, singing, and dancing from an intergenerational cast—all with a message of Black love.
