Jumpology Extreme Air Sports
Jumpology [juhmp-ol-uh-jee]: (noun) the science and study of jumping, especially when assisted by a trampoline. And at Jumpology in Glen Allen, all jumping is assisted by a trampoline. Of this facility's 18,000 square feet of space, more than 11,000 square feet are devoted to creating a grid of connected trampolines—more than 35 in total. What that means in practice? Wall-to-wall opportunities to bounce to your heart's content, all edged with angled wall trampolines. But if bouncing isn't enough for you, Jumpology also puts its trampolines to use in high-flying activities.
Some of the activities and attractions include:
Ninja Obstacle Course: What does it take to be a true ninja? You must be able to swing from nets to ropes without touching the ground. But ninjas in training can safely slip into a foam pit if need be.
AirDunk: Sometimes the rim of a basketball hoop can hang just out of reach. With the help of a few trampolines, though, anyone can jump like Michael Jordon.
Extreme Dodgeball: Gone are the tame rules of dodgeball that dictate you must observe the laws of gravity. In their stead is the soaring action wrought by wall-to-wall trampolines, all contained within a dodgeball cage.
Slackline: Balance is key to walking a slackline. Yet if your balance should fail, a giant pit of foam cubes is ready to catch you.
