For more than two decades, the chefs at La Pizzeria have cooked pizzas in an Italian stone oven heated to nearly 1,000 degrees. Crafted with house-made mozzarella, pizza dough, and breads, the 14 styles of pizza range from a classic margherita, crowned in tomato and fresh basil, to the Pearadise, which arrives topped with thinly sliced pear, sweet potato, and prosciutto.
Pizza-making is just one of the team's many talents, though. The chefs just as deftly whip up gourmet Italian dishes with locally sourced produce and seafood from the Gulf of Mexico. They wood-grill 12-ounce hanger steaks, make carbonara even richer with pork belly, instead of the traditional bacon, and roll a mixture of beef, pork, and veal together to create meatballs. La Pizzeria also offers an extensive wine list, along with a selection of craft beer and house-made cocktails.
