The Screaming Eagle
Thrill-seekers can find excitement minutes from Downtown Omaha with Mt. Crescent’s newest summer and winter activity; The Screaming Eagle Zipline. At 1,600 feet long,this dual racing zip line is not only the longest zip line in the Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas area, but also one of the longest in the United States. The total zip line ride is over five football fields long. Adventurers can go it alone or zip down the side-by-side racing zips together at speeds up to 40 miles per hour. After a 20-minute equipment suit up and safety overview, adventurers can start by climbing aboard an authentic 20 passenger, 6-wheel military troop carrier. Guests are encouraged to take your photos, scout for wildlife, or simply enjoy the ride. Once at the top enjoy stunning 360 degrees views of the Midwest and prepare to fly like an eagle!
