A lovely ambiance and good service. Gnocchi wasover-cooked to the point of mushy--although it was tasty and rich. Wedge salad was mostly lettuce with very little else--the dressing was not a traditional tasting blue and was way too tart and vinigar-ey. Salmon and steak were surprisingly dry. It may be we caught them on an off night. The key lime pie was fabulous---best I've ever had, though I know tastes do vary a lot when it comes to key lime pie. In a nut shell: Good value for a Groupon, but same dinner would not be worth the advertised full price.

This was our second visit. The first visit was equally as good. We were very pleased with the outstanding service that we received from Breanna. The food was top notch and very generous portions. I certainly would go back! Thank you!

Steak was terrific, as were the sides. Service was great too. Groupon deal was not so good so we took its face value and applied as a gift certificate towards our meal.

The choices were nicely varied, the meals were delicious and the steak cooked to order, and our server, Pam was efficient and very pleasant!

The food was good, but the service was very slow. I also felt the groupon was a bit misleading. The amount paid was on a prixe fix menu, but the amount that we were to tip on was itemized per item and their individual cost.

About PRIME de Leon Steakhouse

PRIME de Leon Steakhouse has staked its reputation on, well, steak. From its downtown Fort Myers location, the upscale steakhouse has become a local favorite thanks to the high quality of its ingredients, including USDA prime beef and ultra-fresh seafood. The à la carte menu features an array of artfully assembled dishes, and it changes drastically with the passing seasons. Here are some favorites you might find when stopping by:

  • Starter: poutine brimming with house-cut frites, white cheddar sauce, and chive gravy
  • Entree (land): 20-ounce prime rib served alongside a baked potato
  • Entree (sea): North Atlantic salmon with whipped horseradish potatoes and a beet beurre rouge
  • Sides: The truffle mac and cheese is popular, and the applewood-smoked slab of bacon is mouthwateringly self-explanatory.
