Before attending the two-hour session, attendees are encouraged to either peruse the gallery's selection of available prints or provide their own photograph at least a week in advance. Upon arrival, attendees receive a canvas featuring a simple sketched outline of the subject.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own beverages or snacks, but the sessions include all of the acrylic paints and supplies necessary to transform a black-and-white sketch into a colorful piece of art. These spirited and highly social settings cap attendance at 10 and take place on Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Beginning in April, however, sessions will meet on Tuesday evenings.
