About Resurrection Mary 5k Run
Named after a famous local urban legend, the Resurrection Mary 5K pays tribute to Justice's spooky past while raising money to ensure its future. On Sunday, October 18th, runners will take to the streets of Justice—some of them dressed in such scary costumes as ghosts, monsters, or an inbox with 4,000 unread emails. The run leads down the same Archer Avenue that appears in the iconic legend, but the runners' eyes, faces, or disfigured masks will be looking firmly ahead: proceeds from the event benefit the Indian Springs School District #109 Scholarship Fund, which has been helping local graduates with college expenses since 1971.
