Fun experience!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. Won't be able to use it until May, but so far the experience has been great. I have emailed them and communicated via chat on their website, both times got detailed answers, as this is not a cheap gift, I wanted to be prepared for my purchase and know a few things before I bought it. They were more than helpful. I can't wait to see his face when I give him his gift, and even more so after he gets out of the car from driving it! Stand by for another review afterwards!

First, don't pay full price for the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience. The Groupons are half off. You can do better than that, other deals are 70% off, maybe more. The list prices are pure fluff. Rusty Wallace should honestly price the rides at the discounted rates and leave it at that, instead having the phony overpriced regular prices. You will be offered lots of extra charge stuff too. The driving is fun. The bull ring cars were 350 HP, considerably less than real race cars, but it was enough to get a good ride. The lifting marks on the track were very conservative, they keep you from going in to the turns too fast. As an experienced race car driver, I could have kept going another 10-20 feet. However, in 20 laps I did not achieve "The Perfect Lap". Will have to do it again. Rusty Wallace should put transponders on the cars to give us lap times. It would have been great to know who in our group was fastest, and how close we got to having "The Perfect Lap". If you add transponders, please don't charge extra for it.
