This trip was a lot of fun and I would highly recommend it. The dolphins were spectacular!

Had great time

Boat captain, Ken, seemed quite competent and was very pleasant. Lee, the tour guide, was entertaining and personable. Was a beautiful night to be on the water and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend.

What You'll Get

Bodies of water are frequent metaphors in poetry due to their unfathomable depths, unknowable sprawl, and unattainable porpoises. Set sail into the enigma with today's Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $29 for a nature or sunset tour for two (a $60 value)
  • $55 for a nature or sunset tour for four (a $120 value)

On nature tours, naturalists point out snowy egrets and eastern brown pelicans or accompany guests past wildlife habitats on the Barrier Islands. Meanwhile, on the sunset cruise, guests drift past a sun-streaked skyline and watch dolphins skimming the blue.

About Sandlapper Water Tours

Aboard the 45-foot, USCG-certified Palmetto, Captain Bryan Collins whisks up to 49 passengers away on tours that drift past scenic Charleston sites. Upon departing from the Charleston Maritime Center, the Palmetto overlooks silhouetted steeples during sunset cruises and floats over dark waters as guides spin horrific yarns on ghost tours. Elsewhere, a local naturalist joins nature tours to point out snowy egrets soaring overhead. A local historian climbs aboard history tours to explain the significance of the Battery in the Civil War and which history textbooks are the tastiest. Along with scheduled tours, Sandlapper Water Tours accommodates visitors on private sightseeing cruises, couples on wedding-themed charters, and students on educational tours. Guests craving a more intimate seafaring adventure can hop aboard a 27-foot skiff for treks around the harbor or through salt-marsh creeks.
