- $212 for an extended introductory flight lesson for one ($399 value)
After a ground briefing and inspection, the instructor and the student hop into the cockpit of a Robinson R44 helicopter and take to the skies. The student controls the helicopter for more than 90% of the flight, and the extended lesson affords more than double the flying time of a normal lesson. After the flight, students debrief and are given a chance to ask questions as well as discuss a career path and training options. The entire lesson is about 90 minutes long. In addition to being educational, the introductory flight lesson exposes students to the excitement of flying as a career. Learn more about professional helicopter pilots here.
