Mountaintop Resort in the Heart of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region

Located within a 20-minute drive of Gunstock Mountain Resort, and less than an hour drive from Loon Mountain, Waterville Valley, and Ragged Mountain Resort, Steele Hill Resorts houses a steamy glass atrium pool area that offers everything a sore skier could want: a heated pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi, and a roman bath. The atrium's relaxing options can recharge visitors so they can explore the resort’s hardwood forests, where families can skate on the pond, sled, snowshoe, or climb an observation tower for 360-degree views of the White Mountains and New Hampshire’s Lakes Region spread out below.

Many of Steele Hill’s rooms provide exquisite views of the Belknap Mountain Range and Lake Winnisquam. Inside one of the resort's one-bedroom suites, a private balcony overlooks the lakes and mountains, with a fully equipped kitchen to help those making dinner. Each room is slightly different and all rooms include either a balcony or a patio. The two-bedroom west townhouse boasts a fireplace and a jacuzzi bathtub and the two-bedroom east suite and the one-bedroom south suite have a jacuzzi bathtub. The two-bedroom suites offer two or three bathrooms, a living room with a sleeper sofa, and plenty of space.

Onsite, you’ll find plenty of things to do, starting with dinner at The Hilltop, where chefs prepare apple-and-walnut-stuffed pork and bison burgers in a restaurant surrounded on all sides by the New Hampshire countryside. Elsewhere, you can explore the resort's five miles of wanderable trails. Children who bring their own toboggans can whiz down the sledding hill or head over to play the Xbox Kinect in the main building’s lobby.
