Alamo City Chocolate Factory
Scott and Lisa Smith are proud of their Texan heritage—so proud, in fact, that they renamed their chocolate shop to the Alamo City Chocolate Factory. But while the name has changed, the chocolates remain at the same high quality they've been at for more than a decade. When their case is full, nearly 8,000 hand-cut pieces and truffles span roughly 100 different varieties and flavors, from amaretto to nut clusters to simple milk chocolate. But that's where the simplicity ends. Guests can customize truffles with initials to celebrate anniversaries or subtly remind loved ones what their name is, or commission chocolatey 3D versions of just about anything.
