What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
When you train with me, not only do you get the one-on-one attention, but you also get to choose exactly what music and TV you want playing in the background. My gym is a small, private boutique gym but with everything a big gym has to offer, minus the crowd.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
It varies with every client, because everybody needs and prefers something different. I do not yell, but I do push people to step out of their comfort zones. On the other hand, if my client is injured, elderly, pregnant, or a minor, I use gentle guidance with a slower pace.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
As a lifelong athlete and gym enthusiast, I chose Exercise Physiology as my subject in college, with a minor in Advanced Nutrition. But I soon realized I didn’t enjoy the clinical aspect, but I loved the hands-on option. So I obtained my certifications in both training and nutrition instead.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people feel better. Whether it be with a better nutrition plan, a better physique or just more confidence and self respect, I believe everybody deserves to reach their goals, and I get to help them with that. Few things are more rewarding than seeing someone find happiness within.
