Tanya Allen, who has more than 13 years of experience in both injury recovery and preventative health, is trained in a variety of massage techniques. They include sports-injury massage, trigger-point therapy, deep tissue, acupressure, and craniosacral therapy. No matter what massage she gives, Tanya is passionate about listening to the body.
Leanne Bard, who has had particular success working with athletes to get them back to competition form, relies on a combination of hado, guasha, and essential oils to alleviate pain and encourage movement. She also rebalances energy and de-stresses clients with Raindrop therapy, which involves placing drops of essential oils onto the spine.
Aon Center for Innovative Bodywork
Whether you need to relax and de-stress, recover from an injury, or even have someone walk over your back to access deeply held tension, Aon Center for Innovative Bodywork has a bodywork treatment for you. Its massage experts perform everything from classic Swedish massage to ashiatsu therapy—a form of barefoot massage—to joint mobilization massage, which loosens joints by manipulating their movement. Every massage session uses paraben-free, organic Safar body cream.
Elsewhere at Aon, aestheticians nourish skin with Dermalogica products during facials. They first analyze skin before selecting a mask to treat such concerns as fine lines or acne. While the mask seeps into pores, they massage the upper body, hands, or feet fostering even more relaxation.
