Choose Between Two Options
- $49 for four 30-minute private dance lessons (a $209 value)
- $89 for four 45-minute private dance lessons, one semiprivate class, and one practice party (a $325 value)

During private lessons, instructors spend 30–45 minutes on each individual’s needs. Semiprivate lessons give students the opportunity to work with different dance partners while developing and refining technique. The dance package culminates in a practice party, held twice weekly, during which students mingle with themselves and instructors as they showcase dance moves. Arthur Murray’s instructors specialize in styles such as ballroom, tango, salsa, Argentine tango, swing, shag, and country-western dancing.

Arthur Murray Dance Studio
Arthur Murray has been a leading name in franchise dance since 1912, when the entrepreneur began selling mail-order dance lessons. Expanding his reach, he enlisted teachers to spread his signature dance lessons on first-class steamships and skyrocketed to fame in the ’30s after introducing the public to such dances as the Lambeth Walk and The Big Apple. By the 1950s, Arthur and his wife, Kathryn, were hosting their own highly popular TV show on ABC, The Arthur Murray Dance Party, which ran for 12 years. Today, Arthur Murray’s team prepares students for rug cutting at special events and weekend nightclub jaunts. Throughout lessons, instructors teach the foundations of two to four dances from a long list of styles that range from Latin to country-western, helping students to learn basic step patterns, timing, and the ability to lead or follow.
“They are so easy to work with. Not having any dance experience I was worried about going in, but they made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I had a great time!”
“I have been to several different dance studios in Greenville and Arthur Murry is my favorite.”
