About Asian Noodle
Asian Noodle opened with the goal of introducing diners to new Asian flavors. That's why chef and owner Susan Fassbender—who was born and raised in the Philippines—prepares an eclectic menu of Filipino, Singaporean, Korean, Japanese, Malaysian, and Chinese dishes. Read on to learn about a few of Asian Noodle's standout items:
- Appetizer: Lumpia shanghai, best described as Filipino-style egg rolls, features a crisp, thin wrapper that envelopes ground pork, green onions, cabbage, and carrots. It is served with a sweet-chili sauce.
- Entree: Pancit, which means "noodles" in Tagalog, can be found all over the menu. One of the chef's specialties is the popular pancit bihon. The entree is composed of thin rice noodles sautéed in garlic and onions and tossed with a vegetable medley.
- Dessert: The halo-halo dessert is just as delicious as it is eye-catching thanks to eight layers of sweetness, which include coconut, sago, gulaman, crushed ice, vanilla ice cream, and purple yam with a Filipino-style sauce
