Beth has been in the industry for over eight years and has received awards in hair cutting, makeup, and hairstyling, as well as being awarded for growth and excellence in community relations while working as an educator at an award-winning beauty school.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Beth has always had a dream to run her own business, and the inspiration comes from the beautiful, unique, and vintage styles of the 40’s and 50’s. Bettie Lu’s was named for both of Beth’s grandmothers.

What do you love most about your job?
I love the interaction and getting to know my clients. It’s a very special thing to be able to give someone greater confidence or help them relax. Bringing out their own unique beauty is the best gift I can give my clients and receive in return.

What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
That they feel completely comfortable in my space and that they are 100% happy with the service I have provided them.
