The staff even as serviceable they are young kids that lack professionalism, as well my daughter and wife did not feel comfortable with the choppy waters and went to shore, we did not get any reimbursement or option to come on a different day, so we lost that kayak cost. They would not even be open to trading the coupon for the bikes they had to rent. the tour itself is was ok, a few cool facts about San Diego, but the actual kayaking is not that great. I would stick to just kayaking an not doing this as a tour as there is not much to say for all you do is go on a straight line in front of the shore.

We came and it was too windy for paddle boards so the Nick gave us bikes and kayaks instead, awesome experience and they were willing to work with us!

We went to Coronado for our kayak on time, nobody was there because the person had COVID but we were not notified. I had a friend in town only that day so we were not able to reschedule. Groupon would not refund me and the place was not able to "find my reservation" even with all my codes so I lost my money on this. I do not recommend!!

Our guide, Chris, was great. Good pace for our family of 4 on 2 double kayaks.

It was an okay experience, spectacular views but crowded with other groups at the same time. Which made it hard to hear the instructors. Plus they went over the time limit, so at the end it was really rushed :(

About Bike & Kayak Tours

A crew of former athletes and passionate locals with a love for the outdoors wait beneath the bright-red awnings at each Bike & Kayak Tours location to guide multiple expeditions through the natural sights around San Diego. Since lessons are included—along with life vests—no prior kayaking experience is needed, and tour-goers can choose between single, double, and triple sit-on-top kayaks designed for stability.

The 7 Caves and Ecological Reserve kayak tour sends paddlers on an expedition to a 75-million-year-old sandstone cliff with seven sculpted sea caverns that resound echoes in seven-part harmony. Another tour brings kayakers along the San Diego Bay, emphasizing the city's architecture with views of the skyscrapers and the award-winning Coronado Bridge. In the spring, snorkeling trips follow the seasonal migration of leopard sharks as students paddle in the shallow waters of the sandy flats with harmless predators.
