About A Chat with Carolina Outdoor Adventures
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We are the only company in the Midlands that can offer this type of trip - Kayaking on the Congaree River from Cayce to our exclusive take out in Sandy Run.
What is the experience customers can expect?
A beautiful day kayaking on the Congaree River with some history thrown in. We will make stops on secluded sandbars to play in the river and have lunch. You will get to see a section of the Congaree River most kayakers seldom do.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Carolina Outdoor Adventures was started after several years of planning and hosting kayaking and social events for friends. Seeing there was an opportunity to offer something that the other outfitters haven’t been able to do, guided trips down a portion of the Congaree River.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting to introduce people to a beautiful section of the Congaree River and teaching them a little about the history of the area.
