A Chat with Childbloom Guitar Program of Nashville
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
[We help] students engage with music quickly and successfully. We want to give them a learning victory in the very first lesson. The skills that are taught are done so in a fun, exciting, and simple step-by-step manner. It’s effective and affordable.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
The enrollment package provides the beginning curriculum materials, a take-home practice CD, and monthly parent newsletters. Students will need an appropriate-size acoustic guitar, music stand, and foot stool.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
My first experience with guitar began as a Childbloom student at age 8. I fell in love with the instrument and my passion for music flourished. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Music from Belmont University, teaching Childbloom has provided me a joyful way to share the same gift that was given to me.
What do you love most about your job?
One of the most fulfilling things as a teacher is seeing a student’s face light up when they achieve mastery of a new skill set or song. Watching them progress through the program as they find joy and confidence through music is truly priceless. There is no better gift than a lifetime of music.
