Copper and Kings
Before Copper and Kings distilled a single drop, they asked local artisans Vendome Copper and Brassworks to handcraft a set of alembic copper pot-stills to their specifications. That meant that, thanks to design features that maximized copper contact during production, the stills were optimized for making the company's distinctive line of American brandies. From there, the rest was up to the "low and slow" distillation process, whose relatively low temperatures allow for a longer distillation time that amplifies every batch's flavors, aromas, and smoothness.
Aside from its signature two-year-aged American brandy, Copper and Kings produces a diverse lineup of spirits that also includes "immature" brandy and different kinds of absinthe. Fans of the facility's work can go behind the scenes during weekly tours, though the pot-stills are usually too busy working to sign autographs at those times.
