Louisville Activities

When it comes to Louisville activities, cheering on Rick Pitino and the gang at a Louisville Cardinals game is one option. Stirring up Chef Edward Lee’s jalapeño-spiked bourbon julep is another. But it’s not all basketball and bourbon (though those are two very, very important things in the Commonwealth of Kentucky). In historic downtown Louisville, art fiends can peruse contemporary exhibitions at 21c, a museum that doubles as a Condé Nast Traveler–praised boutique hotel. If you’re more in the mood for live music, head to the ornate Louisville Palace, a 2,700-seat theater opened in 1928. But if people-watching and drinking your way through town is your perfect pastime, hit up hip Baxter Avenue and Bardstown Road in the Highlands.

One 2.5-hour canvas painting class for two
Such a neat experience!!!! The building itself is really quaint and inside It is so much fun to be in a colorful art studio. Grace, was our teacher for the class. She is efficient, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. She made everyone feel relaxed! We also were allowed to change the color from what was on the sample. Very cool environment. Nice you can have a charcuterie and wine while you paint and we weren't rushed. I do feel the charcuterie and wine cost were a little overpriced. I would definitely do this class again. They offer so many different types of paintings. a fun event.l!

Online Skype Guitar Lessons with Jeffrey Thomas 4 Thirty Minute Lesson
Jeffery was really great! He explained everything very well and I went from knowing nothing to being able to play 4 simple pieces + tablature + get a good foundation in reading sheet music. He sends worksheets, and audio for working with during the week and we used the Hal Leonard "Guitar Method" book for extra practice. I'd also recommend his website (https://jeffrey-thomas.com/) for learning more songs as he explains them nicely. I was a complete novice before taking lessons with him, and now, I feel much more comfortable with a guitar and am excited to keep learning.
