This restaurant has a good location (the downtown, it is convenient to come into walk time) and tasty food for small money.

Entrees need to come with a serving of vegetables or dal, or you could offer half-portions of your vegetarian entrees on the menu. To get a vegetable, you would have to order another full entree. We enjoy vegetables with our meat, which makes the meal seem more complete.

It's a shame that the place doesn't do a better business. We were the only couple eating there. It definately needs some attention to the decor and management. When I called, they answered the phone just "Hello". We enjoyed our meal and our waitress was new, but very polite. The prices are somewhat high but would go back with a groupon.

About Cumin Cafe

Using traditional Mediterranean and Indian culinary techniques, Cumin Cafe’s chefs infuse dishes with piquant, rich flavors. Bits of beef or lamb shank simmer alongside spices and vegetables in a clay pot in Mediterranean tajine stews; Greek spanakopita layers spinach and feta cheese between a flaky pastry crust. Chefs add a splash of rose water to prawns flavored with ground spices in golden korma curry, and use tandoori-style ovens to cook chili naan, making a perfect scoop for goat biryani rice dishes or a heating pad for diners’ sore shoulders.
