- $89 for entry to the 4-Mile Night Run for two ($178 value)
Registration for the Night Run starts at 7 p.m., and the race starts at dusk, or about 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 24. Everyone gets a T-shirt and medal. Once dark hits, runners race through more than 30 obstacles across 4 miles, and celebrate their accomplishment with a cookout, bonfire, and beer. Runners can also bring a tent and food and camp overnight for free. The race benefits Stomp Out Silence, an organization that raises awareness about bullying.
Dirt Runner races don't just challenge athletes—they push them to their limits. Set on rough terrain with a more than 1,200-foot change in elevation, the roughly 5K course is rife with agility and strength-testing obstacles. Those range from complex military-style structures to towering fences that require scaling. After completing the course, participants unwind at post-race festivities with food and music.
