About DruryDesignArt

An artist who has worked across a variety of three-dimensional mediums since 1964, Joe Drury found his niche in giving new life to old glass. At DruryDesignArt, he shares the secrets of his up-cycled works, educating curious pupils in the art of transformation—literally. Using tired or outdated glass pieces, Drury fires, molds, and manipulates the hot, malleable glass, fusing on new pieces and reinventing the old form. Suited for students ages 8 and up, classes are open to all stripes, and ideal for family bonding, couples night out, or a therapeutic art date with man's best friend: snacks.
