The quick pace causes the heart rate to rise and remain elevated throughout the session, promoting a more-sustained calorie burn. Trainers might have exercisers do 30 seconds of jumping jacks, followed by 30 seconds of stairs, followed by 30 seconds of push-ups, and so on, giving exercisers a complete workout in a short amount of time.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? We started Flex-Appeal so women would have a place to work out and not worry about what other people thought of them being there. We want everyone to love themselves for who they are, not how they look.
What do you love most about your job? I love seeing the reaction on my client's faces when we have weigh-in day, and they have lost pounds and inches. Their face lights up, and they begin to cry because they finally realize that they can do it!
