What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years and have been an athlete in sports ranging from whitewater kayaking, running, horseback riding, skiing, tennis, swimming and modern dance. I have an excellent understanding of the body and how it works and the importance of the mind/body connection. I offer individualized sessions working with you so you can stay relaxed throughout the session. I focus on specific areas that you want treated while helping the whole body to release tension, become unstuck and find a sense of freedom and relaxation. I integrate the principles of yoga, yoga therapy, and Thai yoga in my sessions.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I want to help people realize that our bodies can heal themselves when we get the process started and learn things we can do to support excellent health. I am fascinated by how quickly the body responds when approached with sensitivity and an understanding of the interconnectedness of all the muscles, fascia, multiple body systems, as well as the mind/body connection.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people and seeing how people can find relief, release tension and begin to feel better so quickly. It feels great when someone leaves after a session with a big smile on their face.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
It is hard to say which is the “best” reaction I have ever gotten. But I love it when people feel the energetic component of the session. One woman told me it felt like she had released layers and layers of tension that had developed over many years. She felt a new surge of energy and a sense of lightness and inner joy.
