David Crabb didn’t fit in where he grew up in small-town Texas, but as a teenager, he had no choice. Enter a few Goth friends, a lot of black clothing, and a record collection filled with Pet Shop Boys, The Smiths, and Joy Division and Crabb’s life begins to take on a different shape. In this true-life one-man show, Crabb explores his teenage rebellion, drug experimentation, and sexual awakening, namely how all of it helped him find himself despite of—and maybe because of—his stifling surroundings.
