What You’ll Do
The sun is shining and spring is in the air—sounds like a good time for a well-earned beer or two. The team at Events with BeneFitz has just the ticket: a curated day of brunch, bloody marys, and breweries. During their tour, they combine all these while taking away the hassles of coordination and transportation. Read on for a taste of the itinerary:
Stop One: Eat and Greet at Charlie’s Bar & Kitchen
Between sips of a 10-ounce bloody mary, get acquainted with the group and brunch on one of four specialty entrees at New York Magazine’s Best Bronx Bar of 2014. Choose from a Jacksborro chicken benedict, challah french toast, a chicken breakfast burrito, or a vegetarian big brunch salad.
Stop Two: All Aboard for Gun Hill Brewing Co.
A big yellow school bus takes everyone to Gun Hill Brewing Co. for a four-beer flight and a talk that gives visitors a glimpse into what Gun Hill is all about. Hang out for a bit before seizing the opportunity to purchase a pint or a growler for the road—don’t worry, cups are on the bus.
Stop Three: Time for Bronx Brewery
Re-board and head to Bronx Brewery for a full tour and five 4-ounce beer samples. After the tour concludes, decide where the afternoon will take you—the beer garden is open, and it’s not unusual to find live music or a game of cornhole in progress.
