What You’ll Do
Form the bloom, curl the stem, knock off the pipe; there are a lot of odd-sounding steps involved in making a decorative glass flower, but the results couldn’t be more classic. Artist Fay Miller guides you through each phase of the process, working alongside you as you create a fetching piece of glass art.
Design Your Flower
Play Mother Nature as you select a flower shape: circle, star, or twisted petal. You can also customize your flower with up to two colors from a list of seven, including cobalt and amber.
Get Hands-On Experience
For some steps, you’ll work with the artist, and for others, she’ll simply observe. Either way, you’ll be involved in every step of the way.
Studios, Hot and Cold
All glasswork takes place in the hot studio. There’s also a cold studio, which you’ll tour for an hour while learning about Fay Miller and her work.
Award-winning artist Fay Miller has been fully immersed in the world of glass art for the last two decades. In that time, she’s shown her work in a group exhibit in Marin Moca, been featured in Palm Beach Life, and won awards at the Beverly Hills Art Show. She’s also been running her own glass studio, Shardz, where she continues to share the tips and tricks she’s learned over the years with budding artists.
