- $12 for two reserved tickets to one performance (up to $20 value) * Rumplestiltskin: April 16, 23, and 30. Robin Hood: May 14 and 21. All performances begin at 1 p.m.
- Rumplestiltskin: based on the fairy tale from the Brothers Grimm, the story follows a miller’s daughter as she lands herself in a troublesome situation with a spinning wheel and a short guy with a long, long name
- Robin Hood: there’s an awful lot of adventure in Sherwood Forest, and even before the archery contest. Little John, Friar Tuck, and some other merry men join the guy in the green hat on a quest to save Maid Marian from the rotten Sheriff, and while the mission may be serious, there’s no shortage of wit.
Gamut Theatre Group
From improv comedy to kids' shows to classic dramas, the Gamut Theatre Group offers a veritable feast of theater for kids and grown-ups alike. The Popcorn Hat Players, a team of actors and scriptwriters who produce original versions of classic children's stories with minimal scenery and absolutely no lengthy litigation scenes, complements the dramatic side, the Harrisburg Shakespeare Company, a troupe of seven artists who supplement the works of the Bard with similar works that are Shakespearean in content if not in authorship.
Meanwhile, the in-house comedy troupe T.M.I. specializes in long- and short-form, character-driven improv, and Stage Door productions have included radio theatre, staged readings, development of original works by local playwrights, providing theatrical experiences to the greater Harrisburg area.
