On a stroll through the Mississippi Market, she helps participants identify the local, organic ingredients that best bring to life three of her own recipes.

Chef Hamaker directs participants toward outstanding local and organic ingredients and provides tips on how to decipher food labels, what cuts of meat to look for, and how to best prepare each dish.

Kristin Hamaker has always been a hands-on chef. In Minnesota she learned about sustainable eating while sowing seeds and harvesting crops on a CSA farm, and at culinary school in Ireland, she milked her own cows and caught her own fish in the Celtic Sea. Through her personal-chef service, Farm to Fork, she and her staff bring that same level of culinary devotion to organic, locally sourced meals prepared fresh in clients’ homes.
