You need to know that the price you are paying only includes the bus ride to the Canyon with commentary along the way and a boxed lunch. If you would like a tour of the actual Canyon with the tour guide, that is $20. If you don’t pay for the tour, then you are left on your own to explore the Canyon. You also will have to pay $33 for the skywalk. They do not allow you to bring anything, not even your phone. So they charge you minimum $17 for one picture. Other people paid a cheaper price through other third parties. That is my recommendation for you.

We had a bit of a problem when booking, it wouldn’t accept the voucher number. Groupon contacted the company directly and it was taken care of in less than an hour. We absolutely loved this tour! The bus was comfortable, the driver was absolutely awesome and so knowledgeable. Great experience!

We don’t want to give a bad review, but when we finished the trip our guide said something like, "I am not sure sure how much time you spend with your waitress at the restaurant, or what percentage your give, but we just spent 12 hours with you." Then went on to talk about tips and said that at least $20 US per couple is recommended.. I am sure some people think that is normal, but we usually did not carry cash on us and we had a very bad feeling getting off the bus with the guide and the driver just standing there looking at us. I am not sure if these people are not paid well by your company that they would quit if they are not paid by the people taking the tours but when hundreds of dollars are spent on tours, I expect that salaries are properly paid so that the staff do not need to have their wages subsidized by the customers. Maybe this complaint is more about tipping in general, as if I finish a meal and the waitress is waiting to check the amount she was tipped while I am paying, the feeling is not good and I normally do not go to that restaurant again. I guess if you would buy this Groupon for an extra $10 USD per person and you would be happy with that, just plan to pay that at the end. Plus they will put pressure on you to pay an extra $20 to walk together with the guide at the canyon, so maybe add $30 USD to the ticket price in your head, and if you are happy to pay that, then you can just pay those extra things and have a comfortable time. Other than that bad ending feeling, we enjoyed the trip. I did worry about small children though. There are way too many places that someone could fall off the cliff areas. If you have young kids, go to Red Rock Canyon instead as the kids will love that more. It is much closer so the kids can skip what works out to 9 hours on a bus..
