Best Salon for Highlights

Aspen Salon and Day Spa | Henderson

Aspen Salon and Day Spa is more than just a salon; it’s a full-service spa where you can truly pamper yourself. But when it comes to hairstyling, cuts, and of course highlights, you know you’re in good hands here. These stylists can make your highlights look stellar whether your hair is perfectly straight or wild and curly. Even better? They can fix botched highlight jobs from less experienced salons or misguided DIY dye jobs to make sure you look your best! Don’t believe us?

Check out some reviews from real-life customers:

“I’ve lived in Vegas 4 years and Aspen Salon has been the only place I have been to where I walked out and feel totally confident that I am going to 100% love my hair! Thank you Aspen Salon!!! ❤️” – Danielle B.

“I was extremely satisfied with my appointment with Kelly. She is a great stylist. I would gladly come back and request her again.” – Vanessa H.

“Very friendly and accommodating. My stylist Brenda was very helpful picking my color and advised me at each step why she was doing what she was doing and how it would help my hair in the long run. It was wonderful to have so done to take time like that. Will be back there in the future!” – Melodi H.

What is balayage?

Balayage is a type of hair-coloring technique in which a stylist hand-paints the highlights so that they look even more natural, with depth and dimension that resemble the effects of the sun.

Is balayage right for me?

If you want stunning hair color without laborious upkeep, balayage may be right for you since stylists usually recommend a touch up only every two to four months (as opposed to every six weeks for foil highlights). Often used on flowing hairstyles with loose curls or beachy waves, balayage highlights can be low-maintenance, and stylists say they tend to look most organic on hair longer than shoulder-length.

What’s the Right Age for Crazy Hair Colors?

We polled our customers, and here’s what a few of them had to say:

"I think once you are over 30 years old, you really need to NOT do this to your hair. It's adorable on the kids, but I just think it looks bad on older women." – Kelly F.L.

"I think it's just for fun. My tween daughters and many of her friends have experimented with different streaks of color several times in the last year." – Sarah S.

"I have blue, purple, peacock green and red in my short black hair. I'm 65. It's stunning and I too get compliments, tho they are usually from young people. I call that a win!" – Susan H.
