Each day the Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (LA/SPCA)—one of the state's oldest animal welfare organizations—welcomes about 20 dogs, cats, rabbits, and other homeless pets into its shelter. The organization provides basic care, including medical services, reduced-fee spay or neuter programs, and adoption service, and approximately 100 animals are available for adoption on a daily basis at the LA/SPCA.
Every abandoned or homeless pet at the LA/SPCA must be vaccinated and spayed or neutered before adoption. However, the organization cares for more than 11,000 abandoned, homeless, and unwanted pets each year, and requires additional funding to prepare all of its animals for adoption.
Join G-Team and donate $9 to help prepare homeless pets for permanent adoption. If G-Team members raise $360, then the Louisiana SPCA can vaccinate, spay or neuter, and provide two weeks of food and shelter for three pets as part of their preparation for adoption into loving homes. Each additional $36 raised will provide a spay or neuter procedure for another animal.
Unlike traditional Groupon deals, G-Team campaigns typically don't offer you a "discount" or "savings." So "buyer" beware—when you click "Buy" to donate your time or money to a worthwhile G-Team cause, the only discount you may receive is 100% off free, priceless karma. Read more about G-Team.
