Breathing underwater, like eating fireworks, constructing a monument, and getting married, should only be attempted if you’re confident you can do it. Today’s Groupon to Cincinnati Diving Center gives you all the skills you need to mingle with the mermaids. Choose between the following options:
- For $160, you get a PADI or NAUI scuba-certification course (a $324.95 value).
- For $199, you get a PADI or NAUI scuba-certification course and $80 worth of scuba equipment (a $404.95 value). <p>
Cincinnati Diving Center’s certified scuba instructors school swimmers for future dives with classroom and pool training. While this course does not include the six open water dives completed over at least two days which are required to complete PADI Open Water Diver or NAUI Scuba Diver certification, students can complete their certification with open-water dives on one of the center’s many dive trips or any other PADI- or NAUI-certified diving center across the world. Both aforementioned certifications are recognized across the world for open-water scuba diving. While the school provides all textbook materials, scuba equipment, and harpoons necessary to complete in-pool certification for open-water diving, student swimmers must come equipped with their own snorkel gear (mask, fins, and a snorkel), which they can purchase at the diving center. Fins from Scubapro and Aqualung range from $79–$199, whereas masks from an array of brands range in price from $54–$150.
Cincinnati Scuba & Aquatics
At Cincinnati Scuba & Aquatics, the certified instructors take the art of diving seriously—from beginner’s sessions to rescue-diver courses, all training programs incorporate both classroom and in-water sessions to ensure complete preparation for frolics in the sea or the neighbor’s aquarium. The center also sells scuba and snorkeling gear for successful swims and coordinates group trips to the ocean to free divers from the stresses of vacation planning.
