About Heat Yoga Studio & Spa
Heat Yoga Studio & Spa was established in 2013 in Cedar Rapids. This location has three massage therapy rooms and a classroom that can fit 40 yoga students. The team's goal at Heat Yoga is to provide a wellness oasis where people can receive a variety of services to enhance their well-being. The second location in North Liberty was designed to include massage, chiropractic, and two sensory deprivation saltwater float tanks to align with our goal of health and wellness.

The elimination of external stimuli allows for a reduction of the central nervous system's workload up to 90%. This is why the sensory deprivation tanks are designed to cut off the body's senses to allow the central nervous system to focus the energy on restoring, regenerating, and healing. There are researches conducted that suggest that sensory deprivation also induces deep relaxation and quiets mental chatter so that the body's stress response may be reduced.
Soaking the body in Epsom salt can also provide physical benefits including reduced pain, decreased inflammation, detoxification, and increased magnesium levels in the body.
