HorrorCon International takes place on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, 2015.
HorrorCon International traces its humble origins back to 2008, when it started as an arthouse horror-movie fest run by a tight-knit group of film students at Rio Hondo College. Today, the organizers invite thousands of scary-movie fans to a three-floor, 100,000 sq. ft. space in downtown LA, where they can meet with vendors, actors, artists, and musicians. They can also learn about Mexican traditions at the Dia de Los Muertos exhibit, get a glimpse of rare indie horror movies at the film fest, or be ferried into the afterlife in style at the custom hearse hot rod show. Panels and Q&As with horror celebrities put fans face-to-face with their favorite actors and directors, such as Sid Haig from House of 1000 Corpses or Lynn Lowry of The Crazies.
