In The Breeze Ranch

Dangling leaves drape over trails that cut through foliage and over trickling streams. More than 40 horses navigate these pathways with both riders of all skill levels on their backs as the certified guides of In The Breeze Horse Ranch lead the way. Founded in 1993 on a pastoral plot of land in Hillsborough County, In The Breeze teaches riding lessons, takes guests on trails, and hosts parties for up to 500 people on its grounds. Owner Lynda Fowler has spent more than 30 years teaching horsemanship and 21 years of curating children's camps during school breaks. She also hosts a series of seasonal events, such as hayrides and a giant campfire, for riders.

The closer I got to the location the more I thought I had made a very poor purchase. The neighborhood is questionable at best and first glance at the ranch appears it has seen better days. It's not well marked and parking is not marked at all. All of my concerns were put to rest once I met my guide Christina who was a complete sweetheart. My horse Lucy was calm and gentle. The trail was beautiful and peaceful. Over 300 acres of streams, huge mature trees and lots of wild life. I could see the excellent care and feel the love they give to their horses! Christina, Anthony, and Sam were great and made me feel confident and at home 'on the range'. Thank you for a great experience!

I would HIGHLY recommend this place! i had a blast! All of the staff were more than polite as well as helpful! The huge property was gorgeous and well taken care of, we strolled along a little path then it opened up to where you could canter and run. Then around the most gorgeous lake! They seemed to fit any kind of rider. Billy, our guide was very flexible about making sure we got to do what we wanted, and let us go back and run more when we wanted to. My friend and I had some experience riding when younger but haven't in years. I felt very comfortable, they were thorough in their instructions so that i felt safe. Ive been around horses for a good part of my life and these were all very t
