About JFK Hyannis Museum
John F. Kennedy is nothing short of an American legend—an icon of both hope and tragedy. The residents of Cape Cod, however, see him a little differently. "He was our 35th President and our neighbor," they say, and it's this neighborly, human side of the man that takes center stage at the JFK Hyannis Museum.
The Museum offers a multimedia experience that recreates Kennedy's life from 1934 to 1963. Exhibits contain film, photographs, and decorative displays; there's even a video about Cape life narrated by Walter Cronkite. Each year, the Museum supplements its standing collection with a special exhibit focusing on one aspect of JFK's life, be it his political accomplishments or his relationship with his brother.
