About Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire
Though it began in 2002, the Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire traces its roots much further back than that—much, much further. The fair whisks visitors away to the 16th century with a magical, enchanting setup that mimics an authentic European village. This lively village bustles with entertainment, games, and merchants, all of which swirls together to provide a glimpse of a celebratory marketplace centuries ago. Here's a bit more info about a couple of the fair's cornerstones:
The Entertainment: More than 100 performers bring the fair to life, including knights in armor, gypsies, fire-eaters, dancers, musicians, and even peasants. They mesmerize audiences from seven different stages, as well as on a joust field, a chess board, and at "Sommer's Hollow"—the location of a special aerial show.
The Artisans: More than 60 artisans truly transform the fair into a marketplace while exhibiting their crafts. These dedicated men and women can be found carefully molding pottery, working with leather, sculpting, making candles, and more.
